2005 Northwoods Classic Reminder

Hello all,

I finally figured out how to post to this group via my laptop at the
firehouse.

Anyway, the 2005 Northwoods Classic is rapidly approaching and I would
like to start getting a roster set up on OutdoorFrontiers.com.

I've also posted a little bit of information about the NWC and Lake
Mohawksin in the forums section, Bass Fishing at the following link.

http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com/modu...iewtopic&t=345

You can either enter the NWC 2005 via private email to me at this
address or simply let me know the the bass forum on
OutdoorFrontiers.com.

I'll be posting the rules on OutdoorFrontiers.com as well, probably yet
today.

Well, the rules are up on OutdoorFrontiers.com and I've got the beginnings
of the roster.

So far I have;

Steve H. - Boater

Gil D. - Boater

Ronnie G. - Boater

Joe H. - Non-boater

Terry B. - Boater

Kevin H. - Non-boater

Bill P. - Boater

Moe C. - Non-boater

I'm sure there will be more people attending, but I need to know for
certain. Has anyone heard from Warren or Jerry Barton lately? How about
you Ratman, you coming? Ken F.? Josh? Jack? Let me know, I'm starting to
gather prizes and it would be nice to know how many I need to grab. Also,
if any of you know someone that might be willing to donate a prize or two
for the NWC, please let me know either via here or OF.com.

No, not this time. Our plans have changed and I won't
be able to get away until September 12th.

Have a great Classic and a great time.

Jerry Barton July 25th, 2005 04:42 PM

I've got no idea about Sean or Drew, but I know that I won't be able to make
it this year.

I will see what else I can come up with.

As much as I hate to say it... I'm not going to make it either.

Reason Number:

1. I'd have to make the drive alone.
2. Just bought my wife a car, draining my savings account.
3. Oldest daughters birthday is the 26th.
4. Work schedule will not allow it.
5. I provide transportation to Bradley's school.

I'll see what I can do to help provide some gifts. Maybe a BPS gift card or
two?

***That sucks, you're going to miss out on some great times and great
fishing too! Let's see what we can do here.

Reason Number:

1. I'd have to make the drive alone.

***No you wouldn't, you could ride up with Joe and Terry. Then you could be
a non-boater and ride with me one of the days.

2. Just bought my wife a car, draining my savings account.

***It doesn't cost much to come up here, we have special pricing for the
rooms and the trip split three ways would be pretty cheap.

3. Oldest daughters birthday is the 26th.

***Celebrate the birthday a day early, I've done that in the past with my
kids due to schedule conflicts. They don't mind as long as there's cake and
presents.

4. Work schedule will not allow it.

***Two words, "Sick Days".....

5. I provide transportation to Bradley's school.

***There has to be someone in the area that could take Bradley to school for
a couple of days.

I'll see what I can do to help provide some gifts. Maybe a BPS gift card
or two?

***That's greatly appreciated, but I'd rather have your presence.

Bradley doesn't go to the neighborhood school... so it's a drive.

It's a cost issue. To take everyone out would just be too much, and the
alternative is driving solo and that drive is bad enough with two people
driving. I'm really gonna miss it, but at least this year I'm not finding
out the night before by being rushed to the Hospital :-). Maybe something
will change...who knows

Ride with me? Sure thing. But if you recall, we usually put the best drivers
behind the wheel. I'll navigate, you and Terry can steer. Most of the time,
I plan on racking out on the rear bench seat so I'll arrive at Mohawksin
fresh as a daisy and ready for action.

We plan on pulling out Wednesday after work, but not driving all through the
night. In Illinois somewhere, we'll pull off and grab a room for a power
nap, and then hit the road again so we arrive around midday in Tomahawk.

Well... it's official. As Meatloaf sang in the 70's... 2 Two out of Three
aint bad. Nut unlike the song, One out of three just plain sucks.

1. Joe says I can ride with him. (This is the good one)
2. Wife aint happy. (Strike one)
3. Boss says no more leave time until after the redecorating is completed.
(Strike two and three)
