For context only.

I have had the racist-Nazi-jackass-cocksucker-bigot-stupid-piece-of-****

I dont read his crap, and the onyl reason it was quoted was so that people

Then you are in good company.

Gotta ask.

My killfile has gotten a workout here in the last year like never before.

I don't give a **** if you are white or pink and purple polka dot, actions

To be honest, I know more white pieces of ****, like Hank, than ever blacks.

If it was a typical blond it would be blond on top, and dark on the
bottom. Unless the bottom is bleached as well.

Although the M-60A1 was actually developed in 1959, the M1911 in patented in
1898 and the M16A1 in the late 1960's the M-60A1 didnt go out of service
until 1989 (Lat unit other than some Guard units was at Fort Polk, they
transitioned to the M1IP), the M1911A1 did go out of service until 1985 and
the M16A1 is still in service, although the majority of the units in Iraq
are issued the M-4, many are still issued the M-16A2 and plenty are still
carrying around M16A1's. I was surprised to see them myself over the last

I know I'm old, (I remember M-60A1s, 1911A1s and M16A1s)

Although the M-60A1 was actually developed in 1959, the M1911 in patented in
1898 and the M16A1 in the late 1960's the M-60A1 didnt go out of service
until 1989 (Lat unit other than some Guard units was at Fort Polk, they
transitioned to the M1IP), the M1911A1 did go out of service until 1985 and
the M16A1 is still in service, although the majority of the units in Iraq
are issued the M-4, many are still issued the M-16A2 and plenty are still
carrying around M16A1's. I was surprised to see them myself over the last
year while I was in Kuwait/Iraq.

M60-A3's were in service with the CA ARNG until the mid/late 1990's.

For that matter one still sits ready for service not 500 meters from where I
work..

Of course the organization also fields a M3A1 Stewart, a M3 Half track, a White
Scout car and an M20 armored car....

Mike, what kind of "Tank Fixer" are you? I'm a Tanker...or was.
80-87-M-60A3's, 87-91 M1IP, 92-2001 M1A1HC and M1A2's. Also spent a year

on

M551A1 Sheridans.

Mike was a crunchy
I'm the tank fixer, though now days I work in the logisticss system.

Worked on M60A1's, M60A1-TTS, M60A3, M1 and M1A1's
Plus a few Bradleys, M901's and M113A1, and 3's

Only time I got close to M551's was down at Anniston a few times.

Our careers may have crossed sometime. Serve in any of these units? 2-33
Armor, 1-68 Armor, 1-1 Cavalry, 1-12 Cavalry, 2-6 Cavalry, (I also served in
Armor Bn's at Carson and Polk but cant remember which one...getting old. Oh
and I was a Drill Sergeant at Knox).

Sorry but my tank fixin time has been in the Guard.

When I was active duty I was a crunchy.

Nothing wrong with that.

Nope, I had a blast

Yeah. That was after I got out.

I never heard it before, but then I never served with tankers.

Tankers can be divided into two categories depending on the type of vehicle
they inhabit,
DAT for those with older more primitive fire control systems
and
CDAT: for those in the new fangled jet engined rides

do we just go with exterior whites, or interiors too? should we go
with latex or not?

And if we can limit ourselves to ceiling paint will that really cut
down the cost or is that just false economy?

Actually.... for my money spatial white is too blue...

what do you think?

You are absolutely correct.

DAT = Distinguished American Tanker
CDAT = Computerized Distinguished American Tanker

Mechanics OTOH, hand a Monkey a wrench and you have a mechanic.
