Hey, this being laid back stuff ain't too bad. :-) Frank, did you receive my separate mailing of the return postage? I have been on a fly tyin' binge of late. I am tying a fly that I think will catch mucho trout. Pattern: #16 dry fly hook #8 tan nylon thread tail--muskrat guard hairs (two longish) or two moose body hairs body--turkey biot (tied so a ribbin' surfaces) wing case--wood duck flank feathers hackles--light gray dun and grizzly size 16 or what ever I have, in size 16, when the grizzly runs out I hope to tie up a decent assortment of dry flies to send to someone I had promised I would--a LONG time ago! Op --preparin' for the great Polar Plunge of 2006, by makin' up music CDs to play while beggin' money on the Sanford Mall, on campus, in my pink inflatable tu-tu, with faux gold lamay trim. I'm up to about 300 buck, so far, but far short of my goal of a thousand bucks :~^( Oh well, I start earlier next year. |

@news.swt.edu: It's funny you mention that, because I tie up some oversized para Adams for sunfish around here. I seriously considered tying you a #8 or #10 as a little thank you for hosting the swap. Somewhere along the way it just slipped my mind. ...thanks for the idea anyway Chuck, I must have by now a bazillion "bluegill" flies from the previous 5 yrs of GFS's. My how time slips by. I'll be back home Saturday afternoon to tag and package, and the flies will be mailed on Monday USPS Priority to Master Church. If the postal service does its job properly, they'll be to you by 2/15.
