....had I known what the weather had in store for me I woulda stayed home
(no details, I want to forget this damned trip ASAP) As to the swap...
Thanks to all who sent their flies in my absence, but I still don't have
any from (!) Stan Gula and a fella named Katghoti...I double checked my
stash of incoming boxes and that is what's missing. Stan, can you enlighten
me, the other guy too if he reads this. I'd like to get these sorted and
sent out tomorrow, but will await an answer from Mr. Gula.

Mr. Knight, you are most generous, in more ways than one, if ya catch my
drift!

And I will be jumpin' into a lake tomorrow at 4:00 PM, for what it's worth.
I hope to have a video of the event to share at some point in time.

Op --thanks again Mr. Knight--

Is there any particular significance to the date? The reason I ask is that
in my part of the world it is uncommon to find people jumping into lakes in
the winter.......except on January first.....in some places, where it is
billed as the annual "polar bear plunge" (or some varitation on that
theme)*.....or (even more rarely) after sauna.

I hope to have a video of the event to share at some point in time.

I'd gladly spend a shiny new nickel to see that! :)

*becky did her 14th consecutive last month.....and her brother, jeff, did
his 23rd.

I take it the item got there. I am not the generous one. Tis a good thing
you and your fellow jumpers are doing.

Watch that back.

No the just set it because it's cold about that time round these parts.
Besides, this ain't about anything seasonal, really, it's just to raise
money for Special Olympics. I imagine that they want folks to get over
X-Mas and the holidays before they schedule the Plunge and do it before
April 15th.

Whatsmore, far as I know, the Summer Polar Plunge never caught on, go
figure?

There were many there videoin' the event! I should have a copy in my grubby
little hands in a short time.

I was even interviewed for MTN (Mountain Televison Network, I think that's
right?), which should air in the morn!

WOOOO HOOO, my 15 minutes of fame are capture with me in a pink tu-tu!

Yes sir, the item arrived, fully intact. And you are the generous one, too.

My back flip came off with out a hitch or a drowning! I won a $100.00 gift
certificate to a place called Tangiers, which I promptly re-donate back to
S.O., and not just because Tangiers is a women's boutique! I had more women
huggin' me and wanting to have their pictures taken with me, than ever in my
life--4, if memory serves? As I told Mr. gang, I was interviewed for the
local station. And to top off the day, I was asked to join the PP Committee
for next year! Imagine that, I have been the subject of numerous
committees, but never invited to join in, until today.

Oh yeah, I don't know the total raised just yet, but I got the award for
largest individual fundraiser--$662.24. Didn't reach my goal of $1000.00,
but not to shabby for a guy who hangs out on street corners in inflatable
dance attire!

Thanks again, couldn't have done it with outcha!

Good job Mark.
And it sounds like you didn't hurt your back either.
