Will the Champ repeat? My sources say no, but Drew has a good chance of
getting big fish again if no one else has stolen the two step hook set he
made famous last year.

My prediction"

Big fish this year will easily eclipse last years.

Overall results

Winning weight will be 17lbs 9 ounces
Second Place will be 12 lbs 11 ounces
Third will be 8 pounds 5 ounces

4 people will skunk on day 1 and 6 will skunk on Day two

Overall winner will be from Pennsylvania,

Teams will be won with the person that has the TN partner for the day 1
event
Day two team winners will have at least 1 angler from either Wisconsin or
Illinois

Day two will see me and Charles together on the Nitro( Isn't that almost
always the case during these things)

IT WILL RAIN

1 Rod will be broken or lost

Many beers will be consumed

You will laugh your ass off

Many Beers will be consumed

Do we have trophy's for this event yet Charles? Everybody loves Trophy's
and cornbread, ain't nothing wrong with cornbread

Hey you dog, don't count the northern hillbillies out just yet. I've looked
over my extensive volume of pre-tournament preparatory (that means get ready
Randy) journal notes from last year and I see a pattern that may help me
again. It's a little something I like to call the "Budlight Bite". And
seeing as how it beat out your sorry "Rolling Rock Ritual" I think I can
beat you again. You can catch fish on those senior citizen impoundments all
you want but it's not going to prepare you for the return of the Motor City
Madma.....uh...er...I uh.......the 2005 MidTenn CHAMPION!!!!!! And his 40hp
rocket boat!!!

My prediction:

We will wake up late at least twice
We will talk ALOT of garbage
We will laugh until beer comes out of our noses
Drew will sleep in the truck if he starts that freight train snoring
Randy will finish somewhere behind me
Quite a few people will finish above me (what does that tell you Chicken
Man?)
My dad will tell the same stories as last year ;)
Charlie may finally win one
Justin will never again volunteer to organize this thing

And finally, many friendships will be rekindled and memories made, I can't
wait to get down there!!!

Ok so this means the following

1) Kentucky has gotten tired of sisters marrying brothers.

2)The "Ahh that's ok" warning from the troopers was not generating enough
cash flow for the State

3) Funny telling us we can't buy beer will only increase the amount of beer
actually consumed, it's like packing clothes and I always over pack

I've just gotta say that the only things that has made any sense so far was:

My dad will tell the same stories as last year ;)
Charlie may finally win one
Many Beers will be consumed

Anything else that you may hear or read is totally false! Yes, this is
Charlies year to take that first place trophy home, along with that Huber
custom rod that has always slipped from my grasp. I'm willing to sacrifice
my second place position to the Barton Boy, and his funny little sidekick
Randy, who has about as many second place finishes as myself. However, it
may be true that Randy and I do get to share the Nitro once again... but
that will be the day we both score the first place finish! (I'll really give
him a butt kicking on the other day so he won't get the overall first
place.)

You boy's bring enough beer for me this year, cause I've got some
celebrating to do! Oh yeah, the brat's too... and I promise not to call them
weenies again.

Let me know if you need any more contributions for the trophies... I'll add
some cash to the pot. Especially since I'm bringing most of them back home.

I'm sure that you all will be happy to share in any patterns that you
have come up with over the week if I make it down!

Be sure and have several beers for me guys and I will be thinking of
you all and the fun I will miss.

Justin, I told Steve to use that deposit money I've sent so you two can
take it from there.

Sorry to miss it (if I do) but it can't be helped. See you all in
Wisconsin in the fall!

OMG...Say it ain't so. You're gonna' miss the MTC, and my girl is getting
operated on. I think the perfect recouping spot would be a nice resort in
the hills of Kentucky. If you can't make it, we'll think of you, and be sure
to tell Terri I said we'll all be thinking of her also, God Bless.

Well it looks like I may have to miss this one guys (I know your all
heartbroken over that) Terri has been scheduled for surgery on the
17th of April and I need to be here with her for that. Best case
scenario would be that I could drive down on Thursday morning and head
home first thing on Sunday morning.?

I'm sure that you all will be happy to share in any patterns that you

Hey guys, Heavy aint dead yet! It seems that my wonderful wife seems
to think that I need to go fishing with you all more than to stay at
home with her? She can be VERY persuasive at times???? It will all
depend on how the surgery goes on Monday morning

We are still in the "discussion" end of this whole thing and I will be
very interested to hear what the Dr. has to say after the operation,
and from what I hear from my wonderful wife, I may be more trouble
than I'm worth here at home!?

Please keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well Keep Terri
in your prayers) and I may just make it down there yet?

Remember that you a all need to share your patterns with me when I get
there????

Talk to you all soon as I will keep you posted.

That's good news! I remember when I was at home recovering from my pelvis
incident... I got to the point where I didn't want ANYONE near me offering
to help. Wether you come or stay at home... be sure that you don't get too
much in the way. She'll let you know when she needs something.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I'll keep Terri in my prayers. What is this about wanting patterns. I
thought the only pattern you ever used was fishing shallow with horney
toads! Maybe Jerry needs to set you straight again.

Take the man away from water for a winter and I've got to re-train him.

Actually, I've got some baits from Randy and Wermie Ernie that just look
awesome, and I can hardly wait to try these things. They have some custom
colors that you can't buy off of the shelf, and I've always like the "Craw"
colors. I just wish Rich Z would grace us one time at one of these
gatherings so that we could pick his brain.

Trust me Gary, I will have the "TOADS" with me! Now all I will need to
find is some "shallow" water and weeds?????? Do they have any of those
down there???
Jerry?????

Every shoreline has a 5' depth line in the creeks. Wait until I show some
spots on the laptop.
