EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

LAW ENFORCEMENT
I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine , in 1976 for
driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine,
and
had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving
record
has been "lost" and is not available.

MILITARY
I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL.
I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug
use.
By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat
duty
in Vietnam

COLLEGE
I graduated from Yale University with a low C
average. I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE
I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career
in the oil business in Midland , Texas , in 1975. I bought an oil
company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas . The company went
bankrupt
shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a
sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help
of
my father and our friends in the oil industry, including Enron CEO
Ken
Lay, I was elected governor of Texas .

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS
I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and
oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union .

During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as
the most smog-ridden city in America .

I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the
tune of billions in borrowed money.

I set the record for the most executions by any
governor in American history.

With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida
, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became
President
after losing by over 500,000 votes.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT
I am the first President in U.S. history to enter
office with a criminal record.

I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing
cost of over one billion dollars per week.

I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted
the U.S. Treasury.

I shattered the record for the largest annual
deficit in U.S. history.

I set an economic record for most private
bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period.

I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a
12-month period.

I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in
the history of the U.S. stock market.

In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans
lost their jobs and that trend continues every month.

I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the
richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest
millionaire,"
Condoleeza Rice, had a Chevron oil tanker named after her.

I set the record for most campaign fund-raising
trips by a U.S. President. I am the all-time U.S. and world
record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations.

My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of
my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate
bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron.

My political party used Enron private jets and
corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court
during my election decision.

I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton
against investigation or prosecution.

More time and money was spent investigating the
Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the
biggest corporate rip- offs in history.

I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S.
history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil
industry was revealed.

I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S.
history.

I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted
criminals to be awarded government contracts.

I appointed more convicted criminals to
administration than any President in U.S. history.

I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the
largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.

I've broken more international treaties than any
President in U.S. history.

I am the first President in U.S. history to have the
United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.

I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law. I
refused to allow inspectors access to U.S . "prisoners of war"
detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.

I set the record for fewest numbers of press
conferences of any President since the advent of television.

I set the all-time record for most days on vacation
in any one-year period. After taking off the entire month of A
ugust, I
presided over the worst security failure in U.S. history.

I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the
World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S.
the
most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in
world history.

I am the first President in U.S. history to order an
unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a
sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations,
the
majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community.

I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and
support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their
families-in-wartime.

In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our
reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British
friends.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES
All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are
now in my father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view.

All records of SEC investigations into my insider
trading and my bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and
unavailable
for public view.

All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my
Vice-President, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in
secrecy and unavailable for publi c review. I am a member of the
Republican Party.

You're new around here, aren't you?
Hmm, "largest "attact" on US soil?" Don't think so. Read your history
books. Le' see, we have a bunch of "attacks" on US soil; War of 1812
(don't wanna count the "Colonial Rebellion" as that was rightfully
British soil at the time), US Civil War, WWII (Philippines and some
other little spots out there were US soil at the time), and a few
others.
US freedom. Hmm, I really think you may have something there, then
again, I'm looking at attacks on US freedom like McCarthyism. Hey,
we're getting pretty close to the restrictive times that we saw under
McCarthy, so we'll call this Bushism.
War on Terror. What a hoot. How does the attack on Iraq become part
of a "War on Terror?"
And, by the way, with a name like "runsrealfast," are you any
relationship to Rincewind? How fast did you run when it came to
defending your country against the protagonists of the "war on terror?"
Did you hide in a demo crate or just a regular crate?

By the way, for a fairly good read on the history of what happened, go
to:
http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO109C.html

Fairly good article. It explains the links between the Reagan and Bush
(Sr.) administrations and how they formed the basis for what we are
seeing today. Their support and direction (through the Pakistani ISI)
created the Taliban and al Qaeda.
In all reality, these two administrations bred the beast that bit us.
Clinton could not put the cat back in the bag, no president, Republican
or Democrat, could have after creating this monster. If you want to
lay blame, get your facts straight, analyse the situation, read for
yourself and form your own thesis. Don't parrot a party line and try
to be objective. Understand the era in which these organizations were
created (we had the "evil empire" of the Soviet Union to fight). The
Taliban and Bin Laden's org were our weapons. Unfortunately, once
created and fired, they had a mind of their own. The radical form of
Islam that they fostered was a collaberative effort between the CIA and
the ISI. We needed to give them a reason to fight our enemy, we used
the religious angle as that reason. Unfortunately, since that form of
Islam was anti-West, then they also became our enemy.

In sheer numbers? Yes. Less people died at Pearl Harbor than died on 9-11.

AND, most of the people that died in Hawaii were military. Most on 9-11 were
civilian.

AND yes, 9-11 had a greater affect because the US people of the 1940s got
behind their president and wanted to take the fight to the perpitrators.
Today, the vocal minority wants to sit in singalong circles with Bin Laden
and apologize to HIM about whatever caused him to bring 9-11 about. IOW, the
US population has become a lot more pussified since then. You know, close

Holy smokes Frank, I thought you were more level headed
than that.

Okay, yes, it was a bad example. The facts of the matter are within
the text in italics. Yes, we did create a system wherein the Taliban
and al Qaeda could grow and flourish. We gave the direction and the
ISI added their flavor. That was my main thrust. I'll be honest, I
went to that site based upon a google for a couple of quotes. I'll be
more careful with the rest of my links.
The key to the current fix we're in was the formation of the
fundamentalist madrases in Pakistan as a way to breed brain-washed
warriors for action against the atheistic Soviets. None in the
administrations foresaw the that these warriors we created would
consider Christians and the West equally as vile as the Sovs.
The only way to stop it, to end it, is to change the hearts and minds
of those we corrupted.
Oh, by the way, those "brain washed warriors" are now being used by
others. Facts is facts, why don't we see the same level of attacks per
capita in Afganistan that we see in Iraq? Iraq has some amazing
natural resources, Afganistan does not. Even though Afganistan was the
heart and soul of the Taliban and al Qaeda, there's nothing worth
fighting for there. Additionally, Afganistan is more religiously
homogeneous than Iraq. Makes it more difficult to stir up trouble.

Be careful, runny - I'd bet if anyone around here were an expert on the
history of chuch, even yours, it'd be Beej...

PS-S-SS-T, hey somebody, what the **** is "chuch?" Sounds like some
weird, old-guy slang for pussy...

An anonymous poster lays claim to major acomplishments that
are, of course, impossible to verify. And what is there not to
understand ???

second how can you
blame Bush for 9-11 it has to be the clinton administrations fault.

1. I didn't blame Bush for 9-11.
2. I blame him for the total mess he's created in taking advantage
of 9-11 to try to accomplish unrelated objectives (and "fighting
terror" ain't one of them: he's done doodley-swuat on that front).
3. I would say that blaming Clinton for 9-11 is idiotic, but it's
obviously
worked on folks like yourself, people who aren't capable and/or
willing to put in the effort to understand much of anything.

Dickie - your talking to someone who is even more brainwashed than you.

Yeah your right, we send subliminal messages at our church meetings and
brainwash our youth..

Them 90 years are the elders. They been telling John since he was
kicking the slats our of his cradle that: Joseph Smith was never
convicted of using peep stones to con farmers out of money and that he
was going to be a god and get his own planet if he could have a dozen
or so kids.

You don't know a thing about the history of my church, and at least i'm
willing to admit to what church I belong

He said he didn't study history at BYU. That's all done
on purpose.

I choose not to take history classes, it had no bearing on my career in
IT (except for IT history)

If you are going to "rag" on me for my religion, open up and tell us
your religious beliefs so we can bash you (not that I will, thats not
something us cultic not christian mormons do)

Well you should have taken some history at BYU. Even when I went there 40+
years ago they had a pretty good department that dealt with many things
straight on. Like the real history of colonialism in Vietnam and Latin
America, and the Mideast. But those were the days when to be a conservative
was not a pass to be ignorant of history and even techies were expected to
learn something about science and the rest of the World.

I am not a Mormon or a religionist, but I can say pretty confidently that
many folk have some incorrect views about Mormons. For example, some are
surprised that evolution was taught 40+ years ago in my BYU biology classes:
Mormons are not some science-hating fundamentalist cult. People forget that
lots of Mormons are farmers and farmers typically are not science-haters.

The breath, scholarship and freedom of discussion in my upper division BYU
philosophy and Religion classes seems to have been at least the equal of my
Ivy acquaintances. It did take a hard swallow to get through the Bof M, the
D&C, and the Pof GP, but despite what you say about history, you know that
you cannot appreciate or understand these Mormon books without understanding
their history and context. And if you know that history you also know that
there is always reason to look carefully and with caution any time
government raises its sword.

As for the criticism of your church, ignore it, your church is not as bad as
most.
