Hello World

Well I'm at my new home in Ohio and low and behold there are bass in Ohio,
at least not too far away. I caught 50 fish this past Saturday,
unfortunately they were all koi that I had to get out of the pond because my
son decided that water was made for sharp rocks.

All in all it's very different here but the locals talk of smallies and
hybrids not too far from here. wish me luck, I might peek around this
weekend if I can ever get un packed, please note the new e-mail and send me
a note so i can add you to my address book, take out the obvious notpa.
Randy

Hey, welcome back!

You're getting closer all the time, I wonder if your next transfer will move
you to Wisconsin? :-)

Hello World

Randy,
I'm not reading the newsgroup often these days but if you get to the
Central OH area and want some info email me. I used to tourney fish a
good bit here and I'd like to start bassing again now that I am going to
have some time to do that.

Randy,
What part of Ohio did you move to? Remember, you have a friend near
Cleveland that would love to take you fishing :-)

Randy, glad to hear your move went well. Enjoyed meeting ya at the
Southern Classic!

I've never been to your area, but just looked it up and you're only 107
miles/ 2hr drive from
me Lexington, KY. Would love to take ya fishing! Most OH fisherman go
where the real fishing is..KY LOL. I plan on doing some winter fishing
for some smallies, Float-n-Fly style.

Anyway would be great to get together this year, and/or better weather
in the spring!

Hello World

I'm sure you looked at a map by now Randy, but just in case you didn't know,
you're only about 30 miles from some of the best Striper fishing in Indiana
also. Brookville Res.
Pretty large place too, 5400 acres or so, and I hear they have a decent
largemouth/smallmouth fishery as well.
I live in Indiana, but I haven't quite made it down that far to investigate
for myself, yet.

Anyway, thought I'd share! Welcome to the flatlands of the Midwest!

Doug
