One of the founding fathers of the American Taliban is dead today
at age 73.

Jerry Falwell was as great a threat to tolerance and American values
as any American of the late 20th century. If he has a spot at the
heavenly table I hope god seats him between two gay guys.

To celebrate any death, Ken, shows a total lack of character. I'm
surprised to read this from you. And, speaking of lack of tolerance,
I think you show the most lack of any person I've ever met.

I can't quite bring myself to rejoice in another's death, but I am
nonetheless confident that America and Christianity are better off as a
result.

I'm not celebrating, I'm not rejoicing, the sentiment I expressed was
that the Reverend Falwell should get his just desserts at the heavenly
table. I'm sure the Reverend Falwell hoped the same, although probably
not in the same fashion. ;-)

As for tolerance and the lack thereof, it's not a bad thing nor an
indication of a lack of character to be intolerant of intolerance.

It's not your intolerance of intolerance I am speaking of. You're
intolerant of anyone who thinks differently than you politically and
spiritually. If they don't think like Ken thinks, they are fools,
hateful, intolerant, etc.

Some people are hateful, intolerant fools, that's true, but I would
never believe that of them merely because they disagree with my personal
views on politics or spirituality. When I express disgust at someone's
hateful intolerance it's because they posted something here that was
hateful and intolerant not because they disagree with me.

Are you now safe?

The main job for the potus is to keep us safe. I feel a helluva lot
safer now with all the al Quada we have killed, and we are killing
them *over there*.

You know, I visited the campus of Appalachian State. I have a nephew
studying there for his masters. Everyone I met could read. I
celebrate no one's death, and I wouldn't celebrate yours. But, I got
this feeling you would love to tap dance on MY tombstone. Eh?

Moron

So you were at ASU recruiting young warriors and conducting a literacy
survey?

I guess it depends on how *you* define "celebrate," Eh?

I never took up tap dancing. Any other feelings?

Op --It's a bitch when your own words come back to haunt ya, Eh?--

Mark, we are at war. We didn't start it. Al Qaeda did. If it came
down to a choice between you and some radical muslim dying, I'd pick
the muslim. But I wouldn't celebrate it like you would if Cheney or
Bush died.

Yeah, that's the Afghani thing. We did, however, start a war in Iraq. We
can argue a long time about whether it was right or wrong, but there was no
Al Qaeda presence in Iraq when the boots first hit the ground.

d;o) Good one. However, I have a marvelous bm every morning, and no,
I don't think about you or heaven. Do your poopies float? I found
out the other day (by watching "House") that if your poopies float it
is because they are full of fat. My poopies sink. I think that's
good.

Good riddance to another floating piece of flotsam and jetsam
Hopefully Dick Cheney will follow him soon
along with a few others in the present administration.
It would not pain me or my consxience a bit tio these these reprobates fall.

See, Ken? The haters certainly do come out of the woodwork.

Fred, you're a fool to celebrate anyone's death. But, of course, you
already know that.

There's a line from a Grateful Dead song that goes, "if you plant
