This is a very hard and
trying time for me and my family.

Darin I am so very sorry for your loss. About the olny thing you can do is
hang on to your wife and son, keep close tabs on your father in law, and
just move ahead one day at a time. Hang in there Buddy you will come out the
other side and you are learning the truest lesson about the value of each
day we are given.

As I've sat here the past few evenings reading roff as I normally do,
trying to keep to my normal routine as much as I can, I'm forced to look
at life a little differently and also look back on mother-in-laws life
since I met her about 16 years ago.

oh, god, darin, i just went down that road this past fall. the loss of
a beautiful life, a life that you have been privileged to share closely, is
devastating.

but she lives as long as she is remembered. and she is honored as you
communicate her life to the rest of us.

you are doing the right thing, i think.

I'm not looking for sympathy, but just a place to get some of this off

Not looking for it, but you are going to get it. My condolences on
your loss. May you find the strength to hold everyone and everything
together.

I'm sorry for your loss, Darin. There's never a good time to lose
someone close, but losing a loved one this time of year is especially
hard. That last sentence of yours is the sentiment to hold on to.

Take care,

Such a loss, Darin. I am so very sorry for you and your family. I too lost a
mom-in-law that I loved as much as my own.

Be strong for you family, and stay warm.

Dave

My sympathies also. One of the most wonderful women I know is my first

It really is true too, Ken. She was fine on Sat. and on Wed. she was
gone. I never realized how much I love and cared for her until it was to
late.

If you keep falling in the streams, she should have to worry about losing
you, not the other way around.

Darin - I may be grieving, but I still have my sense of humor :-)

Unfortunately, that sentiment will pass with either your son's 16th B-day or
the first time you and I meet, or whichever comes first!
