Patriots de-Mann Colts, rob him for four picks, and head for Super Bowl for
the second time in three years.

Awesome work - the score does not reflect how badly NE kicked Indy booty.
If Fauria catches *either* of the perfectly thrown passes in the end zone this
game would have been over by half time...

Who is the next victim? Hell, we don't care!

To keep this on roff topic:

Clean and wash 500 gr. of fresh pig-skin, put it in a pot covering
with salt water and boil. Drain it and let it cool, then cut in large
slices (about 1 cm.).

Put all in a pan with half glass of oil, salt, pepper and chopped
herbs. Fry lightly on a medium flame.

Pour two spoons of white wine, let it evaporate and add 300 gr. of
tomatoes puree and a glass of broth (or hot water with ½ meat stock
cube).

Boil the slices of pig skin in the sauce on a medium flame for some
minutes, pour 400 gr. of beans and mix carefully with a wooden spoon.

To have more sauce, add the broth and boil for other 10 minutes. For a
better flavour, serve in earthenware soup-plates.

well, ok, but I swear I can already smell a Kitty Roast ;-)

Pats have Brady.
Pats have the Coach of the Year.
Pats have the Homeland Defense.

Las Vegas agrees: early line favors Pats by 7.
It's a Red, White and Blue Destiny!

it should be an entertaining defensive battle.

my take on the afc championship game is that peyton has never won
the big game that counts. he never got it done at TN and he
hasn't in the pros. by the middle of the colt's first possession
he had happy feet.... a sure early prognosis for the final outcome.

There aren't many QB's in the game with a better ability to find the
open receiver than Manning; his problem was that there weren't any. The Pats
secondary was superb, and their pressure on the QB was relentless.

This is gonna get UGLY! We have strong (smelling) contingents from both
North Cakalaky and Taxachusetts here in ROFFland. I think its fitting that
the new Survivor series starts after the Tidybowl. Think you'se guys might
want to take it to alt.flame.football for a couple of weeks? Didn't think
so.

FWIW, I would quote Mr. T in saying "I pity the fools" who have to play the
Pats, when Belichick has 2 weeks to prepare.

oh i agree charlie.... imo, he has the best skills by far in the qb
department. it's just that he hasn't learned how to win the really big
games yet. if and when he does, look out.

Yes but isn't that what the oddsmakers were saying about the Rams and
Eagles. Carolina was supposed to have NO hope of winning but look at who is
the NFC Champion.

It will be an interesting game.

Exactly! IIRC, the nearly-forgotten Rams were favored by 7 points, and had a
14-game winning streak at home. Too bad they wimped out at the end of the
game. I'd love to see Carolina win, but I think it's too close to call.
