I've had better summers...
Not a complaint, just an FYI for those that know me...hey, I'm still on
the right side of the grass! Spring bluegill fishing was fine in my local lake, it always is until about late June and later until the weather cools down in the fall. Went in for a routine eye exam for new glasses last month and discovered big-assed cataracts in both eyes, the last surgery was performed about two weeks ago and I now no longer need glasses for distance vision. I wasn't aware that part of the surgery was to implant intraocular lenses to correct for distance vision, nice surprise there! Will get examined for reading glasses in another week or so. Going in Monday for more shoulder surgery, arthroscopy this time on my casting shoulder, as it is now I can't cast anything heavier than a 2 or 3 wt for more than an hour or so. Still hoping to make it to Maine in Sept if the surgery is successful, gonna try for smallmouth on the Androscoggin if I'm lucky. As usual Dave Bottom (brooktrout) will be my guide. (I haven't forgotten you Louie, will let you know the dates in Maine, probably right after Labor Day, depends on Dave's schedule) Frank Sr. |

Work your ass off on that PT after the shoulder surgery. It worked great for me. Good luck getting out to Maine. (hey, can you hook me up with a small camping trailer? You still have your "sources?") |

I will either go up the week before or the week after. Have to contact some fishing friends and see which weeks they will be there. Hope to see you, Frank. Dave |

...dang, I had forgotten about her, that was a long time ago and a fun trip I'll remember. Actually, I have been seeing a masseuse for almost four years now, costs me a thousand bucks for 30 one hour sessions, prepaid in order to get that good price. She is a beautiful 39 yr old blonde that I've been hitting on for all those years...we have become good friends and I always look forward to our weekly sessions...I told her that she has fondled my body more than all three of my previous wives put together, she likes to hear that... Fondled in Fremont You're a dirty old man, Frank. I like that. d;o) |

Thanks Kenny, the arthroscopy went very well yesterday, took the sling off this morning and started the recommended excersizes. Only needed 2 Vicodin all day. (I excersized restraint and didn't take more than I needed) New reading glasses are in the offing then the overhaul is complete. With my mileage if I wuz a car they'd have carted me off to the boneyard by now. Fixed up in Fremont |
