Hah! It's NOT the finger!

You guys ought to know I wouldn't complain about a cut unless parts are
missing afterwards...

It's something I caught. Not a fish. Not an STD - I'm very careful now that
there are things penicillin won't cure.

I caught a fat man! Well, maybe not fat but he was bigger than me by a good
six or eight inches and maybe a hundred pounds..... And thanks to my
selfless act, he was totally unhurt. I was in a position to hold on tight
and let him land right on my arms....

Most of the tendons in my shoulders are somewhat longer than they used to
be, tears in both rotator cuffs. Chiropractor is taking care of the lower
back.

The neck damage, well, the MD said I probably wouldn't have to wear a halo
and I said very definitely not. Ain't know way I'm getting my neck cut on.

Can't lift, stretch nor pull nor push. Can't reach, roll or curve cast.
Hard to walk uphill or down if it's a steep gradient.

Can't grab a branch to pull myself out of the river.

Certain showers activities compromised.

Surgeons report due soon.

Dying to get to Penns!

All my love, John . . .(I've really done it this time...)

Ouch. :(

Take care, John. Speedy recovery and all that.

Hope to see you fit (bearing in mind that it's a relative term) in a
few weeks.

God God, John! Just lay low, rest up for 4 plus weeks and get to Penn's intact,
or at least as intact as you can manage.

John,
It will be vital you take extra care on the water in your kayak for some
time. For you and all fly-fishing kayakers and float-tubers, this is vital
information for your safety.

lmao - and watched it to the end.

Now, for something completely different!
================================================== ========
Ripped off from rec.humor.oracle.d:

Finally, somebody in a chicken costume who will do whatever you want.
Check it out: http://www.subservientchicken.com
================================================== ========

Now, I gotta confess, I clicked through. Saw a web-cam view of a living room.
Then screen filled with the image of a huge costume chicken head.
It moved to the middle of the room and turned to face the camera.

Ohhhhkkaaaaaayyyy.

I typed "give us a spin, then"

The chicken spun in place.

I typed "Good chicken!"

The chicken bowed with a flourish.

I was so freaked out (the multiple BH's didn't help that at all) that I
immediately closed the browser.

/daytripper (that's way more disturbing than I was ready for ;-)

That led me into over half an hour of bemusement. I even tracked down
the guy's other stuff to watch some of it. The Viking Kittens were
the best, though.

Thank you. It's so odd. Gave me the impression that a real person is
in there all the time, just waiting for someone to enter the site.

The garter belt was sort of the yowza part for me. If you're going to
dress up as a chicken, why a visible garter belt? Yeah, so it holds
up the leg gaiters / whatevers. But why make it so, well, so...

John, John, John. I heard the rest of the story. You caught the dude and
let your squad catch the bikini team. When will you ever learn. By the
way, on behalf of those of us who fall alot (fell down the stairs this
morning. turned 46 yesterday and my wiff thought she'd wasted the money on
birthday presents), thank you for being there. Get better soon.
