Count me out of the Madison 'Clave, and this newsgroup. Last thing I
want to do is to hang out with a bunch of socialists and row my butt
off for them, or tie flies for them.

Later commies and assholes and also the clueless and the brainwashed
that prevail here.

I had fun fishing with you Steve, but not really. What was the smell
when I opened up the door of your truck, by the way? I suppose it
must have been your iPOD overheating.

ah, tolerance is such a unique and pleasant trait. ...and, if i know
the crowd gathering in montana in july, none of them required,
requested, or necessarily needed you or any one else to row their butt
off or tie flies for them. the folks in the group i'm familiar with
would have been happy to row and share their flies, whatever your
politics or philosophy might be.

missed??

prevail? Perhaps, but it looks like the total is going to be one
less.....Honestly, Paul,
speaking of clueless, how do you get the psychic powers to have the slightest
freaking clue what most of the folks on ROFF think? Thank goodness at least
most of us have a sense of humor, a bit of tolerance, and the realization that
both of those traits are somewhat important if one wants to live with others.

You should donate $250 K to the GOP. Then maby Cheney will take you on one
of his trips when he closes down the South Fork ( or what ever it ). You
could fish in a private clave with like minded chicken hawks. The secret
service will keep the pinko, commie hippy freaks and roffians off the river.
The scuba divers from CACI will be in the river to put 10 pounders on your
line just in case there not biting.
The best part is you might be a footnote in the history of the adminstation
that will redefine corruption.

Gee Paul, when you first posted that, I thought it was some kind of joke and
was really sucking people in, now I'm not so sure but......if i recall my
civics lessons correctly, the simple fact that we can sit here and debate
the current occupant of the white house would make us pretty American at
that. We can use the voting booth to overturn the house every two years,
senators every six, and presidents every four. No need for guns and
fighting. If the Johnson and Nixon years taught us anything, it surely
taught us that our leaders are fallable and their motives should be
questioned. Its the American way.

We've got an administration that by whispering "war on terror" can make
people disappear (forget the Constitution), but it's someone who posts a
link to a joke some folks have played on Google that's arrogant and
un-American..... Good thinking.

Well, don't know about the arrogance, because I've been well accepted her.
I also don't know about "anti-American" (hey, I can say it without shouting.
Yes, I have strong feelings about the use of power by the American gubmint,
no, I don't believe every soldier, sailor, airman and marine is a saint, and
yes, I believe the current president should resign in disgrace.

Now, I've expressed an opinion. Isn't that very American of me?

When I fished with Paul on the Missouri he seemed like a nice guy, if a
little uptight. Now I consider myself doubly fortunate to have shared a
boat with Mark Tinsky, who is a fine fellow and who I hope can sometime
show me the Missouri's charms in better conditions. I don't recall
talking about politics much, but I must have.

I'm willing to cut him some slack. People get all worked up about
politics, to the point where they forget their manners and react
irrationally.

No Paul, what you've proved is that for some folks, being "right-wing" is
much more than a "political" point of view, it also can be a personality
disorder,

But, seriously now Paul, I understand that the Prez has just asked all truly
loyal Americans, true-believers like yourself, to put their hands down on a
hot stove burner as a sign to the Almighty that His chosen people are
obeying His Vessel, GDub.

Go for it man. Be the first on your Block.

Dave
