Disney owns a large number of media outlets...from espn to magazines...to
ABC.

Didn't realize Disney owned A Biased Canadian network. That explains a lot.

Well, yes.... way after 9/11. Sometime toward the end of May of this year he
took his citizenship test and was sworn in as a U.S. citizen. He retains his
Canada citizenship, however, so it's still correct to describe him as a
Canadian.

But I don't put Peter Jennings in the same group as other Canadians I know. I have many Canadian
friends and I'm sure that there's buttheads up there, just as there are down here. Well, actually,
I know of two!

Notice the "A" I put in front of that phrase. "A" as in one person. "A" as in
Peter Jennings. Same as saying CBS is a Rather biased network. As in one
person, Dan Rather. I don't dislike groups, just individuals.

My son also has both Canadian and US citizenship (born in St. Johns, Newfoundland while I was stationed at Argentia). Boy, take
about paperwork! When he went in the Navy it took forever to get his TS clearence for the nuclear (sp) program. Bill P.

Not to re-dredge this topic, but I am curious if there is a single Disney
movie that contains a child having both parents? After my kids got Nemo
yesterday I noticed it fit the typical Disney Story line. Mom or Dad dies
and something traumatic happens to the kid that they must over come in the
end to be a hero. So Disney is anti-fish and anti-family apparently:) Just
an observation!

The 'Homeward Bound' movies. (2 dogs and a cat find their way home
against impossible odds). Mom has remarried; it's not clear whether the
original Dad is out of the picture because of death or divorce, but
there are 2 parents nevertheless.

far be it from me to defend Disney, but if you love dogs (and if you
don't, there is something wrong with you LoL) you'll like these flicks.
Just try to get past some of the corny dialogue and smarmy situations

The only one I can come up with is Parent Trap, but then, that movie was
all about the fact that the parents had been divorced for years. :)

Isn't it wierd how "Bambi" became a girls' nickname, when the original
character in the evil brainwashi... ...oops... ...the original movie was a
young MALE whitetail?

And what kind of parent would name (or call) their little darling Bambi?
Every Bambi I've ever met has been, well, for lack of a better word, loose.
Parents might as well have named their daughter Slut.
