A note to say thank you to all the Western Clav attendees. Great to
be able to finally meet some folks from ROFF. A different Band Of
Brothers, if you will :-)
A special thanks to the guys, Warren , John and Randy, who rowed the
float on the Madison.
Great time!!

Harry, I've been scheming on a plan to get down there to float the Sac.
Been thinking about it after you talked of the fishery. Have to put in some
brother-in-law time and then maybe get a free day or two from Modesto. I'm
not sure of a good time of year, but if I put it together, I was hoping you
could drop by for a float.

Was great to meet you and your wife Harry! Sorry we didn't get to go
fishing - I was planning on floating with you if we could work it out but
alas...

Next time.

I realized I forgot to thank both Bruiser and Brian Nelson for letting me
use their fly rods when I busted mine on a float. I liked Bruiser's so well
I bought a like model the next day in West Yellowstone.

Harry,

Never got a fish a lick with you, but a few of your flies worked wonders.
You'll figure out which when I place a follow-up order, but really, had
great experiences with several of them.

Would like to fish with you eventually, maybe in CA before anything else.
Have a huge project for work coming up for San Diego, LA, San Juan
Capistrano, and Dublin early next year, just hoping they let me out to play,

Regardless it was nice meeting you, and Happy Trails,

Mike

Randy- did the radio recover? The escapee brown Chas posted on ABPF was the
guilty party and was wholly responsible for the dunking of said radio :-(

We'll blame the fish then. It did not recover, but I'm hard on equipment so
it had a limited life span. The broken rod should prove that. Luckily I
have a second radio that I use so it is no problem. You can buy me a beer
at the next clave.

Done- though I'm pretty lousy at remembering those kind of things- I still
owe RW my share of the "Bribe Heide with Roses for Bruiser fund" :-(

I should have paid for that whole thing. You guys were so nice to do that.
It's just that while I was actually *in* Montana I wasn't feeling too
wealthy. :-)
