Brenig report April 9 2006

Week ending April 9 2006

This week saw the weather varying from cold easterly winds to a warm
bright mid week and back to cold winds and snow showers on the weekend.
The water temperature has been 4.5.

For those brave fishermen who have taken to the water this past week
they have caught plenty of fish. With the rod average being a healthy
4.2. The heaviest fish of the week went to Mr Darren Williams of
Rhuddlan who caught a beautiful over-wintered fish. It weighed in at 5lb
9 oz. He caught it on a sinking line and an orange booby of the bank
between the visitor centre and the dam.

The hot spots for the week have been on the Sailing Club and between the
Visitor Centre and the Dam for bank anglers. For boats it has been Hafod
Lom woods and the Sailing Club.
