Rainbow Trout - the season has just started here...
 

The big rainbow are hitting again on Kootenay Lake in British Columbia. Over
the last week several rainbow in the 10 to 17 lb class have been landed.
Kootenay Lake does not freeze over in the winter, and it is the best time
for rainbow fishing here. The Lake record is 37 lb 12 oz, with many caught
in the 20 to 30 lb bracket. You can see some photos at
