Are you Fly Fishing in Winter?

This may be a silly question as many of us fly fish in summer mostly.
However, the question is:

How are you doing with winter Fly Fishing?

Of course it don't apply when everything is iced over or frozen solid... But
in here in western Canada the fish is going deep and not too many are rising
to the top like in summer months. How do you adjust your fishing methods?
Assuming you don't quit fishing till the spring.

I try to use beadheads and long leaders on floating line in lakes.. That way
I see my indicator and position of the fly better than on sinking line.
Trouts take the fly as it falling faster when presented with small or medium
beadhead. I don't want it too heavy as it may hang in water for a while
before I start stripping slowly.. Seems to work better for me as oposed to
fast stripping in summer. Any thougts or suggestions..? Sure don't want to
quit fishing just because of the colder days... LOL

Thanks.. Mr.G.
