Thanks Sandy - I'm quite happy and certainly not worrying.

I thought I might have missed one of your adventurous fishing trips :-)

Good to hear from you guys!
Thanks to you Sandy on advice for fishing Atterdale a few years back and
also to you Bill for the great times we had fishing in Wales.
Hope to be retiring in May so hopefully, (If SWMBO allows it), to get to
both areas next year.
Fancy going REALLY north in Scotland. Might mean a flight and hired car
but would be worth it!
As for Wales, Bill, wouldn't mind resurrecting the Brenig trip or maybe
Llandegfedd? I still have the coaster from our trip there in 1997(?).
What fun, even though I didn't catch :-(
Happy days!

life that we tend to meet any new situation by re-organising; and a wonderful
method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing
confusion, inefficiency and demoralisation."

Hi Alec,

I can't believe you's want to re-enact that Llandegfedd fiasco. The company
was great, the Hotel was fine but the weather was absoluelty horrendous.
Phil Jones and I actually landed at one point and took refuge in a
birdwatcher's hide.

On another occasion at Llandegfedd, OPhill and I were wondering what flies
were appropriate when a trout rose alongside our boat and readily took a
floating cigarette-end !!!!.....Can't remember the brand though :-)

yay! Have finally found out how to read/post to the forum - my
newsgroup access at work and home has been borked for ages...

I remember this. The curious mix of a nearby angler remarking that
"there's some Olives hatching over there", as the hail bounced off my
rod.
Rob Ellis, finally losing patience with a tangle and swearing like a
Brit. Ahh, happy days.

hi all - hope you had a fine season. Didn;t do so well meself - was
too busy to get out that much, and come salmon time, the monsoon
conditions suddenly stopped - until the day after season;s close, and
it started chucking it down again. Bugger. However, the AGM the
other night was cheering as I won the raffle for a free 2010 ticket -
just 'cos I was one of the few that turned up for a river clear-up in
the summer.

If anyone's up for it, I'd be glad to see about another Brenig trip??
Might try and find alternative accommodation as I felt that the Glan
Aber had gone downhill - except for the prices.

cheers all

Dave

We accomplished harder to accommodated our challenges but it seemed as if every time we were beginning to anatomy into teams we would be re-organised. I was to apprentice after in life that we tend to accommodated any new bearings by re-organising; and a wonderful method it can be for creating the apparition of advance while producing confusion, disability and demoralisation.
