I may be wrong , but I think it is a scam
For one, why use the "extra" wide angle camera, (shot very close) and
laying his head back as far as possible without falling to "fake" how
big it is (look at his hand size compared to the size of his head). A
world record should not need such trickery

Number two reason, our Alabama state record bass was 31 inches long,
with a much bigger belly than this one, and only weighed 16.5 lbs

Look at the photos of Dotty, she was so fat it looked freakish, this
bass looks normal.
