Hey guys,

You both know where my sister lives just off Percy in Smyrna/ Fate
Sanders Marina. I think I might like to explore putting my boat in storage
down there for the winter. Was wondering if any of you know of a good place
that I could contact. I'm gonna drag "Theo" down over the Thanksgiving
holiday if I find a place. Any help appreciated. Either post answer here or
email me at my AOL address. Thanks guys.

Most people around here do not store their boats... but I'm sure that you
can find a self-storage place somewhere around the area. You'll have to
drain all the gas out the tanks though...

I doubt that a self-storage place would allow flammable gasses stored
inside. The batteries would probably have to be removed too...

That's scary... now I doubt that I'd want to store anything in one of those
places. At least not anything of value, unless they are well insured and
accountable for any "explosions".

They may not ask or watch but the rental contract on mine states that "no
gasoline or flammable liquid may be stored".
