Has anyone been out boat fishing from Christchurch recently. I am looking to
catch plaice and would welcome any help,

Not sure who Rex Hunt is?

But the fishing here in NZ is pretty great!
Of course is differs from place to place, but going down to the beach you
usually pick up a few decent eating fish, and can even get a snapper.
Best fun is catching king fish off the rocks
