Has anyone tried smoked teriaki salmon? Does teriaki (sorry if I
misspell it) do good with salmon? Anyone have a good reciped for
teriaki brine?

It is great, but you have to mind the heating part. Less heat for shorter.
Seems the teriyaki does some of that for you when you marinade overnight. I
personally like Kikoman's with some extra brown sugar and salt added. Play
around with it until you find something that suits you.
