Double Yahooooooo .... I've had a headache, sore eyes, stuffy nose and much
more from all the smoke the last couple days ..... and I'm one of the very
lucky ones NOT in a fire area and at real risk

Bill,

What rod would you suggest ( remember, I'm poor) for Hebgen gulper fishing
and the like .... i.e. picking UP a long line off the water and laying it
back down quickly somewhere else .... has to be tippy in action I guess? I
know I'm not satisfied with anything I have for this one specialized use ...
maybe the TFO titanium 5wt? suggestions? I'll only fish it 10 or 15 days a
year and already own too many rods ... think cheap

Tight Lines, Bill

or maybe I need a different line taper ... long back taper or something,
instead of a WF?

OK, just in reading the subject line, what are the Powerball numbers for
next week, what's the market gonna do, and, well, can you spare a tout
or two?

Bill,
my friend and I will be up on the Trinity, November 12-14 for steelhead.
Any tips you can give us are welcome.
I've done some research and heard most of the steelies up there are in the
6-10 lb range, so I'm bringing my 2pc 9' #6 with a floating WF #6. The
flies I'll be using are #6 Silver Cone Hilton, #6 Beaded Assassin, #6
Brindle Bug, #6 Green Butt Skunk, and #8 Single Eggs.
If you can think of others I may need, please let me know.
