BASS Moving

BASS is moving its headquarters from Alabama to Disney World in Florida. Does
this move mean anything to you?

No. Does BASS headquarters have any tourist appeal? If not it sounds like
an expensive move some more expensive real estate. Maybe it puts them
closer to the great bass waters in FLA, but I don't see that as really
necessary for them to operate.

How about the possibility to raise the profile and maybe the awareness of
the org with the GP? Would it make any difference?

Nope not a bit, it is a relative small building in Montgomery ALA,, up
until recently they didn't even have a mounted bass in the Lobby,,
except for a "Billy BAss",, now they have the record catch (the
replicas) of that tournament a few years ago in FL., they have all 5
fish, which weighed over 50 lbs in the lobby, besides that, it is just a
bunch of offices.

I have been there many times to meet with writers

Like I said a few days ago... the rodent powered mother ship want their
investment closer to home. You can expect the organization to be taken
over by ruthless beancounters and the editorial content to become much
more youth oriented and saccharine.

I remain the anti-Disney.
