Well, got out today on Capt. George's ride with Brian and Virgil. meet
up at Capt. Georges boat around 6:30 and yes I was on time!! Vig forgot
his wallet and was running out of fuel so he had to turn around and
start all over again. Capt. George was not in a hurry to run out in the
dark anyway because of the super high tide that is pulling back out all
the logs and junk back into the bay.
Anyway we headed down to the gas docks and trolled around for hours
with very little action. Lots of bait and lots of good marks.
We had on umbrellas & tandom bucktails of every color, ran mono and
wire...two dummie lines as well. The hot rod of the day was the secret
umbrella with a wild eye storm shad. We finished up the day with 5
keepers lots of throw backs and a few shake offs.
Food , drink and a few great fishing buddies was the call of the day. I
had a great time and would drop anything to fish with any of these
guys. Was great to finally fish with that pickrel fishing machine
Vig.!! capt. George thanks again for a great day on the bay...It was a
blast!!! OK boys fill in what I left out...LOL
