Common Sense Fly Books

These lovely leather fly books were being sold new in the states until
not so long ago. Really old-fashioned things that remind me of the
great days of dry-fly fishing more than anything made in England.

I've got both a wet-fly book (which I use as a portable case for
fly-tying material) and a wonderful wet-dry one. But I want more!

Does anyone know if they're still making them? or where you can buy
them?

Common Sense Fly Books

Lazarus, a beautiful Common Sense leather fly book with plastic fly box
and nice leader holder just sold last week on Ebay. It was said to be
from Abercrombie and Fitch from maybe the mid 1950's. I would have got
it myself as it really was nice but, alas, was outbid. Went for about
$40 as I recall. You might want to check Ebay to see if any others lurk
there. I will do so myself, come to think of it! :)
