Engine-mounting an Electric trolling motor
Hi, I have seen an add in the back of some (bass) boating magazines in the
past, in which a standard electric trolling motor is piggy-back mounted onto the back of a standard outboard engine. Now that I'm in the mood to try to mount mine that way, onto a Johnson 130HP, I can't find any information on the company whom was selling this attachment goodies. Has anyone seen this add and can point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance. rjmiller |

I've seen *special* trolling motors mounted on outboards, but never standard
ones. A guy in my club has a Minn Kota without a shaft on his outboard. Pretty useless in thallows I might mention... -- Warren http://www.warrenwolk.com Http://www.tri-statebassmasters.com 2004 NJ B.A.S.S. Federation State Champions "Robert J. I've seen *special* trolling motors mounted on outboards, but never standard

We just rigged one on a big pontoon boat, the thing works best on a big
sterndrive, the outboard lower unit is almost too shallow, and it cavitates pretty easily. There are also the Lenco units that attach to a set of trim tabs, fairly common on the coast, something to look at also if your rig could use tabs for performance. "RGarri7470" wrote in message ...
