There is a really large bookseller that i occasionally pop into for a read.
They have a huge magazine rack that includes fishing magazines. Comfortable chairs are close by as well. There is no problem in reading the mags without actually buying them.I read up on the current issues. There is a washroom and books on fishing as well. However you cant't take the books to the washroom or the area that sells coffee. No one seems to mind. It is something of an off season pursuit. I will continue later my tomato soup is ready. |

That does it for me! I am very tolerant when it comes to giving people
the benefit of the doubt....but this post does it for me!!!!!! The ability to irritate is often confused with the ability to matter, maybe Lurebuilder is not really a troll...just confused :). |

That's the amazing part, this waste of human life has been doing this for
over 6 years! Can you imagine being so pathetic? This guy has wasted complete months of his life trolling this newsgroup. It's part of his daily routine, he NEEDS to do it. It excites him & gives him pleasure, much like seeing a pretty girl or catching a big bass does for real men. "Gee, it's 10PM, I almost forgot to waste 10 minutes of my day making an idiotic post on rofb; I'm sure the world wants to know that I sit around in bookstores reading magazines & I just love tomato soup. I just wish I could bring my magazines into the john with me." I'll bet you do... I only wish my killfile would block the threads he starts entirely. I'd also like to introduce his behind to a broken flippin stick I have in the garage... Unreal... -- Warren http://www.warrenwolk.com Http://www.tri-statebassmasters.com 2004 NJ B.A.S.S. I look at some of the highbrow fishing mags as well for style trends. The
magazine would cost an arm and a leg to buy in relative terms. The mags are really well put together photography is excellent. I've seen some well heeled types following the same practise of reading the mags in the store. I think the store just returns unsold stock for full credit. Course there is overhead but that could be covered by other sales of books and mags at prices above direct cost. |

Thank you for the insight into retail economics, it was definitely a mystery to the modern world, until this post. I wouldn't be surprised to see this post in the Harvard Business Review. |

One can't help but wonder if "a while" is a longer unitr of time in Mr Al's neighborhood than say, "forever". The last time he promised to stop posting "forever", it lasts less than 3 days. What's "a while?" 20 minutes? |
