My chin ? Hmmmm, only things that could be on my chin this afternoon
are a 2001 Parallele 45 Cotes du Rhone (on sale for $7.99 a bottle
at our local Schnucks), my handmade tortellonis stuffed with ricotta,
gruyere, raw sheep's milk pecorino romano and basil pesto, smothered
in my homemade tomato cream sauce.

That's "lunch chin." Kristine's in Monterey, California at some sort of
library conference so after dinner my chin will be covered in duck. Duck
with braised Alsatian sauerkraut and parslied new potatoes (fresh from
yesterday's Farmer's Market) and a salad of fresh greens (ditto on the
Farmer's Market) with oranges and roasted beets and an orange-balsamic
vinaigrette.

Wipe my chin, BOOYAH, you bet your bippy I'll wipe my chin.
