Does anyone build their own leaders?

Hey all,

I usually just buy the prepackaged leaders but was wondering what if
any, are the advantages / disadvantages of "rolling your own" leaders?

TIA,

Randy

Advantages--

You get exactly what you make

Disadvantages-

Can be time consuming
Knots can attract garbage
You get exactly what you make

Not anymore. I only use tapered Riverage Flourcarbon 12" leaders for all my
use. Both dryfly, nymph and for sal****er. I only attach a Riverage
Flourcarbon tip to the tapered leader. Thats it. Keep it simple :o)
