mid-march trip suggestions

i hope to take a little fishing vacation around march 10-15. there will
probably still be over a foot of snow here in michigan. if i get the
boat uncovered and de-winterized, how far south (and where) should i
plan on driving to find some hungry largemouths?

thanks,
calvin.

De-winterized? That's as easy as turning the key Calvin!

You shouldn't have to go far, the bass are biting good here in SE PA by the
middle of March. Jerkbaits are usually the key, my favorite is the #14
Husky Jerk fished around the first major break off spawning areas.

Good Luck!

If you can hold your vacation off until near the end of April, you can
always come down to the Big O and fish with us.

www.moebassguide.com has the detail on our Southern Classic. You won't be
the only guy from Michigan neither.

A foot of snow in March??? You must be in the Upper Michigan area, right?
