Daniel is up to 3#4oz as of last week. He is doing quite well. There is
some indication of scar tissue in his eyes. Apparantly this is related to
the oxygen levels in his blood. Oxygen levels over some level (89%, I
think) and it can degrade eyesight. no indication yet as to how significant
it is or whether it is permanent. He is on track to be released from NICU
along about the first week of January. He will have to be free of any signs
of apnea for several days, and he will have to be over 5lbs. He has
struggled some to get of off oxygen support, but I think he is clearing that
hurdle.

thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers.

Good enough reason to start equiping him with the finest of fly gear
John. Congrats
