got back from four day on el salto last week...weather was good and fishing ok.
we averaged about fifty fish per boat per day but many were small. i
personally got a five and a 6 1/2...there was an 8lber caught and several
sevens while we were there...the owner billy chapman said the best month for
big bass is may, so i may return. the accomodations were fabulous. this was my
third mexican trip and none of the other places compared. the place was
immaculate, the food was excellent the service unbelievable. i strongly
reccommend this fishing spot. its not angers inn but just yards away from it.
i believe he calls it chapman balderero fishing lodge...if any one is
interested i would be glad to supply a phone number.......

Curious, were you fishing specifically for big bass?
