Just got the new Bassmaster Magazine, and I gotta tell ya - this issue has
more great information about tube fishing than I've ever seen in one place.
Read it thoroughly folks, it's good stuff. In my travels this past season I
became aware of the amazing versatility of tube lures. They are truly
amazing bass-catchers.

I should have picked up on it years ago when Charles Summers kicked my butt
on Boom Lake with a 4" tube, but I won't be missing the boat any longer.

There wasn't a single pro in the Bassmaster events I fished this year that
didn't have a tube of some type or another tied onto one of the rods on his
deck. From coaxing bedding bass with various sized tubes to dragging tubes
for smallmouths to flipping tubes in hydrilla & wood for largemouths, these
are fish-catching baits 24/7/365. If you're not including tubes in your
arsenal you're missing the boat. Pay special attention to the subtle
details provided by the pros, there are literally hundreds of ways to rig &
present these baits, and hundreds of different types, sizes & colors of them
to present.

Craig gave out some outstanding advise this past summer on the use and
rigging of tubes, might be worth a reprint.
