2005 BPS Catalog

Got the big one today, lot's of nice stuff..The new Rapala DT4's look
very good and the StandOut hooks look good, they come in red and black
nickel.. Nothing from "the lure maker" or SW, maybe next year...

Hmm... I've been looking for my catalog but haven't seen it yet. Guess I
need to go interrogate my wife to see if she's *misplaced* it again.

I just received my copy today. It's a good thing that there's two bathrooms
in my house, cuz that's where most of my catalog looking gets done.......
But now that I think about it, that's about all I do with BassPro catalogs
is look. I've been in BassPro in many different locations and with the
exception of one shirt, I don't think I've ever bought anything in one of
them. I'd rather do business with mom and pop shops locally.

As far as seeing SW lures in BassPro, don't look for that happening soon. I
think that's deliberate.

Mom and Pop stores are fine but I live in a sal****er fishing area, the
last Mom and Pop store who sold freshwater gear closed last month ( a
few years after Wal Mart moved near it) One good thing about living in a
sal****er area, you don't see many other fisherman, I didn't see another
boat on the ponds I fish in 2004..

Call Bass Pro and tell them to send you their sal****er catalog. iT'S
ABOUT 80 PAGES.
