Lake Talcum (Sp?) Florida

A guy I know says that when he closes on a lakeside home on Lake Talcum
(spelling?) south of Tallahassee, Fla, I can use it some times for free. I
can't find the lake listed anywhere. Anybody know this lake's whereabouts
and status?

Might be Lake Talquin?

I guess I need to speak to this guy once more. I found a Lake Talquin which
may very well be the lake he is referring to. Thanks anyway.

Lake Talcum (Sp?) Florida

It is Talquin, named for Talahassee and Quincy, Fla, about half way between
them. Not far south of Seminole. I did and article for GON last February there
on crappie fishing - we got 13 that morning, kept 12 weighing 18 pounds. It is
beautiful lake full of wood cover and boat docks. Famous for crappie, but bass
is great, too. It is about 4.5 hours from me here in Griffin.
