G Loomis GL3 or St Croix Legand Tournament

Hi,
This is my first time post and looking for some feedback.

I am going to purchase a new rod for a Quantum Energy PTI20 spinning reel.
I am looking for some feedback on the G. Loomis GL3 SRJ782 compared to the new St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass TBS68MXF.

I need to stay in the $200 range and will be fishing mostly plastics with 8 lb (sometimes 10lb) line and smaller weights.

Any experience with these rods?
Thanks,
Mitch

No real comparision, the St Croix wins hands down, better graphite, faster
tip, newer design, lighter rod.

When you say "the $200 range", you might should consider GL IMX. This
would be much closer to an "apples to apples" comparison of the two brands.
