When George Gehrke died, it appears that I inherited the Village Idiot hat. So

What I posted about you was meant to hurt and embarrass you. I shouldn't have
done that, and I offer my heartfelt apologies. Regardless my political
beliefs, I shouldn't let them affect me with friends and acquaintances. For
that I am sorry.
