Yup! Pretty good lures, but I'm stuck on fishing them the way I grew up,
using them for Walleyes and Northerns. Up until this very moment the thought
of using them for Bass had never crossed my feeble little mind :-)

At the very least, should be excellent in river conditions. (Although,
again, I think of these in the terms of WHERE I learned to fish with them
:-D )

Give them a try, in all their permutations. Like with many "new" lures when
you first get them, run them in shallow water where you can see their action
and how they respond to variations in speed. They "usually" run well at a
lower speed than many other lures of similar styles. Don't know about the
newer ones, but ages ago they had a bad habit of running every which way but
true through the water and required tweaking to get them to run good.

Cast far and often
Bob
(Now you did it, I'm gonna have to give them a try for Bass!)

Yep, use to use them quite a bit for northern pike and muskies. I can't say
that I've ever caught a bass on one, but that's not to say that they
wouldn't work

It's just that when I've been using them, it was with toothy critters in
mind. As long as they weren't overly large pike/muskie sized, they should
work just fine.

OK Steve, so by this logic, why is it that every time I visit you WITH BASS
ON MY MIND all I manage to catch is TOOTHY CRITTERS ON BASS LURES !?!?

Warren ;-)
