Talk about a lake being hot!
Not Lake Fork in east Texas, but west Texas Lake Alan Henry produces 4,

The second link was supposed to be: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fish/inf.../entries.phtml This shows the entries for this season. Sharelunker only runs between Oct 1 - Apr 30. This link also allows you to see photos. |

Amazing Warren lol Not so amazing if you consider that the bait was definitely banging off the bottom...which I try to do when I can if the bite is slow. But you're right, a 20ft crankbait in 6 ft of water, seems like a little overkill. I could get nearbout anything to hit the bottom of a 6 ft column, except for maybe some suspending Rogue jerkbaits...maybe they chose it for its size? Bigger baits draw bigger bites? Done that Warren. Remember when I suggested that to Alwaysfishking when his
secret lakes shut him down in the fall? There is a Lake near Alexandria MN called Red Rock that I banged stumps all afternoon in the fall with a DD-22 in 10 feet of water or less. Caught the occasional walleye as well. All the éyes were over 4lbs. Joe Z. "go-bassn" wrote in message ... DD22 in 6 ft of water...hmmm. Amazing Warren |

LM's love them. "go-bassn" wrote in message ... DD22 in 6 ft of water...hmmm. Amazing Warren Remove the x for e-mail reply www.outdoorfrontiers.com www.SecretWeaponLures.com |
Me too Joe, but not with a 22. I try to throw cranks that run along the
bottom, a bit deeper than the depth dictates. But I gotta figure a 22 would want to go straight down in 6' of water... Warren "Joe Z" wrote in message ... Done that Warren.
