Leaders

I never use them because frankly I don't know how to tie them. That is to
say I don't know how to tie two pieces of line together. Have seen some
diagrams but can't make sense of em. Anyone have a good, simple (for my old
brain) knots they will share to show me how to tie like a mono leader to
power pro line ? Thanks guys/gals.

Josh, here is a site that shows the more popular knots.
http://www.marinews.com/fishing/fk_main.htm

However I have yet to find a knot effective for dissimilair materials , such
as Power Pro and mono. I have had minimal success using a blood knot with
Spiderwire and mono. But only minimal success.

If you know how to tie the Uni-knot. You can tie back to back Uni's to join
the lines.

Try this link.

It's at the bottom of the page.

How about a loop-to-loop connection for dissimilar lines?

Scott
