all right, who is the slacker that is responsible for the holdup? when
i consider the *hours* i spent at the tying bench, back bent in the
relentless search for perfection, and placing each of my little jewels in
the delivery box, i become almost uncontrollably angry with a fellow who
doesn't answer the bell...

...."if bull**** was golden..." :-)

...not to put too fine a point on this goat****, but some well meaning
fellow apparently sent his flies as registered mail and I had to be here
to sign for them, hard to do when I was across the country in Chino, CA.
Therefore, the PO made two attempts at delivery, then (dead) Presidents
Day got in the way, so they should be here today.

Cool, Chino. Hey, Dad, you may not remember (as you abandoned us at an
early age), but I grew up there.

Hi Wayno,
While Frank is being courteous . . . I am pretty sure it is me. Had a
little health thingee problem, so I relied on a similar tying style such as
you may have sometimes considered, not that you have a health thingee thing.
I bought them.
Express mailed last Thursday. Delivery Friday. Of course, Frank was still
goofing around in other parts of the country, so I knew I had some time . .
.. not sure why he would have to sign for it. The poor post office person
probably spent hours ringing his door bell. . . .grin.
In any case, I suspect I'm the culprit. Feeling better today. Tying size
24's and 26's yesterday and this morning. Fun stuff. They are kind of
dinky though.
But still, I was late. No excuse.
