Help! It won't go away.

On 2/9, I opened a thread on Gambler boats. Nice thread. Unfortunately, the opener and every subsequent post has the red locked symbol on them and appear to be frozen in place. Are they here forever? Will they never just age away? Help!

Hi Bob! Try an "unsubscribe" and a new "Subscribe" from the "newsgroups" on your header bar. That should reset it, don't forget to write down the other threads you have marked/watched ;-)

Hey Steve, great to see you back on the NG, we missed you!

Thanks Warren! Trying to buy a resort, for now, but wouldn't you know those waterfront properties prices are just going nuts!
Still turn the odd charter on the lake.
Had quite a few cancel last summer due to SARS and believe it or not WNV. Wasn't a bad thing, my water temp never got over the eighty mark for any period of time (two or three days in July I think). Muskie fishin' was great though. Found some new hotspots on the lake due to the spare time. One area that turned out to be just infected with large bass, humps and shoals with current...WOWEEE!
I went in a year end tourney and almost sunk the family IO from a pouring rain on day one. Uncovered the boat at six AM in a pouring rain and it rained all day long except for a couple of torrents that caused spray from the bouncing drops to make a condition that looked like snow two feet above the water surface. High winds kicked up some three to four footers and I felt a little better with the higher freeboard of the IO in the open water. My long time friend, that won the tourney, was the guy that taught me a lot of techy walleye tricks. ( bass fishes a Texas trail in the winter) He had three walleye in his bag on day two over six pounds and a smallie just over four pounds before nine o'clock. Caught them all before the sun peeked through the clouds and the cold front cleared the skies, in less than six feet of water, within two hundred feet of each other. Felt proud of the guy and didn't mind losing to him at all! Great guy all-round. Being a good loser gets you ready to be a humble winner! Maybe next year;-))
