Do a search for "charter fishing in Homer, Alaska". These come up. (and many
more) Your search engine and telephone are your friends.

I hope you catch a few as big as a barn door. No recommendations, tho......
no experience

I have a few recommendations for a halibut guide if you haven't found
one yet:

Ninilchik Charters; operates out of Homer, Seward and Deep Creek:
www.ninilchik.com

Chihuly's Charters; operates out of Deep Creek and Homer.
http://www.ptialaska.net/~chihuly/

There are many, many others, but either of these will provide a
wonderful and productive trip.
