Boat recommendation

I apologize in advance if this is not the right forum. I'm thinking of
buying a 1998 Bayliner Trophy 1802 Cuddy with a 120 Force outboard. Does
anyone have an opinion on the quality and reliability of the boat or motor
make/model? Thanks! William

I know you are buying the boat used since it is a 1998. Test the boat in
the water. 120 hp on a cuddy cabin may not be enough horsepower. If the
boat does not perform well you will be totally displeased with your purchase
even though it could be due to under horsepower and not the boat.

On top of everything Bayliner, that Force 120 is a pre-mix motor, ain't it?

Friends don't let friends ride in Bayliners.

Unless Bayliner has improved in recent years they are typically
underpowered and poorly constructed. Only good thing about them is the
price but you get what you pay for.
