Fishing Pole Research
I am involved in a research team at WSU where we are trying to design a
fishing pole...and so we would like some help in doing such by asking some expert fishermen about thier experiences and preferences regarding fishing rods. So, if you could please reply back your answers to these following questions, we will be sure to apply your input into our design. Thank you for your expertise. Where do you fish; lakes/rivers? 3. When/ and why do you fish? 4. What type of fish do you usually catch? 5. What size/weight fish do you usually catch? 6. Do you prefer low, medium, or fast action rods? 7. What length of fishing rod do you prefer? 8. Do you have a favorite fishing rod that you use? 9. What features in your current rod/ or in existing rods do you like? 10. What features in your current rod/ or in existing rods do you like dislike? 11. What features are important in a freshwater fishing rod? 12. Is there any other activity that you usually do while fishing e.g. listen to music, relax in a chair, camp, hike? 13. Walk me through a typical use of the fishing rod. 14. If money were no object, what improvements or features would you add to your current fishing rod? 15. Is there any activity involved in fishing that you particularly like/dislike? 16. Is there any new fishing rod technology that you would use or recommend? 17.
