G'Day Eh!
I want to say hi and introduce myself.
Steve Huber is a pal of mine and told me what a great community you have here so I thought I would check in. I am based out of Carleton Place, Ontario. Fortunate enough to have over 100 lakes within an hours drive from my house as well as some of the best deer hunting in North America. Also fortunate to have a wife that puts up with my pastimes! Cheers, Matt "I consider him, inch for inch and pound for pound, the gamest fish that swims" James Henshall Book Of The Black Bass (1881) |

Anyway, there's a ton of good information, and some really neat people. Hang out, chime in when you feel and make yourself at home. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

Steve, I hope you explained about the cross-posting that's going on so he
doesn't think that it has anything to do with this group. "Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers" wrote in message ... "Matthew Massey" wrote in message . .. I want to say hi and introduce myself. Welcome aboard. Where is Carlton? I have fished a lake in Northern
Ontario for years just East of the Soo. |
G'Day Eh!
BITW
Carleton Place is about half an hour south of Ottawa, Canada's Capital. No doubt the Soo is a great area for fishing as well. If you want variety though, come east to Lanark County. On the Ottawa River for example, I can, in the same day, catch Small & Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Gar Pike, Catfish, Walleye, Muskie and even Sturgeon. That's not too bad for a five mile stretch of the river, but the river is like that for about 500 miles. Cheers, Matt wrote in message ... Welcome aboard. Where is Carlton? Welcome aboard Matt, just make sure if you fish with Steve there is at least
9 feet 1 inch between you and him whenever there is an approaching seagull "Matthew Massey" wrote in message ... BITW Carleton Place is about half an hour south of Ottawa, Canada's Capital. Speak for yourself, Dave. You may not hold his friendship with Huber against
him, but I sure do.
