When I was in Florida fishing with Doc a couple weeks
ago, he gave me Spidercast SCP500L reel he had picked
up on a rod at a estate sale or some such.

It was in parts, and didn't work (previous owner prior to him). It's
a right handed reel, and Doc is a lefty - so he didn't want it.

Took it out today, made a phone to the local rod & reel
repairman. Dropped it off at noon, at 5pm it was
fixed. It needed a good cleaning, and correct re-assembly.
Total cost $14.

Now all I need is a rod......
