FFF NW Flytying Expo this weekend at Eugene, Oregon Fairground
Thanks to Frank Church for posting on this NG info about Richard Komar's
Texas Bullfrogs. Frank, you really put me in touch with Richard and his unique bug! I am really impressed about the capabilities for this bug for a variety of bass and panfish. It looks and behaves just like a frog in water! It really fishes well and warmer weather will find me on the water trying it out more in various areas. Stop by at 1:00 PM and my son Lance and I will be tying Richard's original Olive in sizes from 2/0 down to size 10, plus Peacock green, Leaf green, black and several variations including adding legs, glitter and other eye combinations. Say Hi and let's share ideas. If you have never been to Oregon FFF's Fly Tying Expo, it's well worth a drive to check out the variety of ideas from many people. The expo is the major fundraiser for Oregon Council. Lots of volunteers, including some posters here, put in lots of time to put together a good show for you. Bring some kids and come on to Eugene Saturday March 26 and have a great time! Good luck. John Lindsey |
